Developer - Revival AO

Project Description:
Revival AO is a massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) based on the iconic style of Argentum Online. My journey began alongside SaturoS, a talented programmer and AOMania enthusiast. Since the project's inception, I have played a key role in its development and maintenance, helping to turn an idea into a solid, successful platform. During its evolution, the game gained the support of Localstrike, a renowned hosting company in Argentina, temporarily becoming Localstrike AO before returning to its original identity, Revival AO.

Main Achievements and Contributions:

• Real-Time Character Handler: Developed a web-based system allowing instant logout, deletion, and character recovery.
• Autoupdater: Created an automatic updater to keep users’ clients updated with the latest versions.
• Introduction of New Items: Designed and added content that enriches the gaming experience.
• Revival War: Implemented a game mode where two factions fight for supremacy and the conquest of a king.
• AODefender: Developed an advanced anti-hack, anti-cheat security system, reinforcing game integrity.
• Automated Tournaments: Designed systems for 1vs1, deathmatch, and siege competitions, promoting community participation.

Project Description:
Argentum Forever (AOForever) is an MMORPG that I lead and organize along with a team of collaborators. Since its official launch on September 30, 2022, the game has steadily grown, reaching a base of over 200 online users and a record peak of 450 concurrent players. In this project, I have performed various roles while building a competent staff and collaborators team.

Main Achievements and Contributions:

• Anti-cheat Security: Designed and implemented a robust system to guard against cheats, based on analyzing both custom and third-party cheats.
• Comprehensive Web Development: Programmed all web sections, including accounts, manuals/wiki, multimedia gallery, ticket support, premium system, payment manager, and email notifications.
• Integrated Video Recorder: Developed a tool in C/C++ (2024) that lets you record the game screen with a key and then easily share these videos.
• Various Tournament Systems: Created competition modes such as 1vs1, plantes, aim, and class-based tournaments.

• Advanced Updater: Implemented an automatic updater to keep the client up to date.
